Menchugang to Dhur Village
Your adventure begins in Menchugang, perched at an elevation of 2,950 meters. The trek kicks off with a 1.5-hour journey to Dhur Village, which sits at 2,900 meters. Dhur is home to the nomadic Kheps and Brokpas, two ancient communities with distinct languages and cultures. As you traverse the trail, you'll come across an old water-driven flour mill near Chutigang, a testament to the traditional way of life in Dhur.
